Last days

Dress: Lovers + Friends.
Sandals: Isabel Marant.
Bag: Coach.

It took me a while to find these sandals in both my size and in the colour I wanted.... But finally in the last days of summer they are mine! Despite summer being practically over I think I'll still get to wear these a lot... It's pretty much always sandal weather in LA.

Jeans: & Stripe T.Shirt: Topshop.
Clutch Bag: Courtesy of Simone Camille.
Shoes: Courtesy of Kandee Shoes.

Simone Camille bags are handcrafted and gorgeous. I love things with a history and some of Simone's fabrics date as far back as the 19th century and have been collected from all over the world. Getting to see some of the beautiful fabrics up close and choosing my own selection for my clutch was a real treat. Thank you Simone!

Dress: Chuti. Sandals: Topshop.
Bag: Chanel. Sunglasses: ASOS.

Smock dresses are the easiest thing to throw on when it's too hot to think about what to wear. Instant chic!

More smock type dresses I love below :)

Pyjama Party

Shorts & Shirt: Courtesy of Harlyn
Metallic Clutch: Vince Cumuto.
Sandals: Saint Laurent.

Pyjamas as street wear isn't a new trend but it's certainly one I enjoy. I think slouchy silks work best and I always add jewellery, heels and a bright lip; that way people know I actually meant to go out like this!

Boots: Dr. Martens.

The second I saw this dress I knew exactly how I wanted to style it. There's something intrinsically 'punk' about McQ-Alexander McQueen and this dress is no exception. The zip, the hot pink colour, the camo print and the subtle union jack all give a firm nod towards 'punk' so it made sense to pair it with my Dr. Marten boots. After all, nothing says 'punk' quite like a pair of Dr. Martens :)
