When The Boy Is Away...

Ashley: Denim shirt, checked shirt & denim shorts: TopShop.
Stripped Onesie (worn underneath): Alexander Wang. Boots: Jeffery Campbell Lita.
Mischa: Red shirt, checked shirt & denim shorts: Vintage. Boots: TopShop.

Impromptu late night photo shoots are the best. What else is there to do in the week between christmas and new year?! With the boy away I had to bring in some extra help for my outfit posts...

I am very much enamored with my Wang onesie. Now I just need it to be warm enough for me to actually wear it by itself outside. Watch this space.

Studded Loafers: Miu Miu

Hybria Wedges: Acne

I bagged myself these bargains from Net-a-Porter on boxing day the second their online sale started. I'm a very disciplined sale shopper. I always have my eye on a couple of itms that I know will get reduced. I watch them like a hawk and then POUNCE! I've had my beady eyes on those loafers since this shoe porn post back here and I've tried those Acne wedges on many a time at Selfridges.

If like me you hate going out and shopping in the sales, here are my other top online sale picks:

Addison Boots: Alexander Wang.
Reduced to £315 from Net-a-Porter

 London Briefs: Stella McCartney
Reduced to £18 from Net-a-Porter

Asymmetric Jersey Dress: Alexander Wang
Reduced to £80.50 from Net-a-Porter

Silk Blend stripped dress: APC
Reduced to £126 from Net-a-Porter

If I could I would have got all of these! They're all items that will carry through to next season.

Which bargains did you get?

Boots: Doc Martens

The award for best buy of the winter goes to these boots. I haven't worn anything else since the snow hit London.... I've also become  the Queen of layers. I now see three uniqlo heat tech vests as the standard base of any outfit that will be worn outside.

P.S Did you notice the blog snow? I thought I'd add a little festive cheer to Ring My Bell.

It's christmas eve eve!!!! Whooooo hoooo!!!

Christian Louboutin 'Trous' 120 Python ankle boots

Mini Leopard

Boots & Leather Jacket: TopShop. Skirt: Courtesy of storets.com
Shirt: Courtesy of Club Couture. Bag: Mulberry mini leopard Alexa. Beret: Vintage

Ooooooooh I cannot even begin to tell you the drama I had getting my hands on this bag. It was a birthday gift from the boy and his lovely family (thank you Goldbergs!) and was ordered in advance of my birthday from Net-a-Porter. First there was a delay getting the bag delivered, then when it eventually arrived I wasn't sure I even liked the bag anymore and spent a week comparing and contrasting it with every other 'Alexa' in the world, then when I finally decided to stop being crazy and admit my love for the bag.... IT BROKE. I wore her for one hour to Sainsbury's and the postman's lock broke. I do not even have the words to express my anger. The following few days were spent on the phone to Net-a-Porter's customer care team (hello Jane!) who arranged to have the broken bag collected and then sent me out a new one. So now here she finally is: My patent mini leopard Mulberry 'Alexa'. And let me tell you something, after all that drama- I love her.

The white shirt I'm wearing comes from Club Couture. I am of the belief that you can never have too many shirts. This one has sparkly buttons so it's completely different from the 6 other white silky shirts in my wardrobe. At least that's what I tell myself ;)

Props to storets.com for this gorgeous skirt.... Makes me feel like a ballerina and since it's black that must mean I'm a black swan ballerina. Yes I am!

p.s Have you noticed Oscar peaking at me from the corner of some of these shots? He gets so excited when me and the boy go outside to take the blog pictures. I'm trying to make a gif of him ambushing me during this shoot.

p.p.s This outfit was only made possible by the two pairs of Uniqlo heat tech leggings and my M&S thermal vest worn under it. God bless thermal!

Roboto Glitter

Christmas give away!!! Whoop Whoooop!!!! Jingle bells and all that jazz.

Here's what's up for grabs:
  •  Extremely adorably typewriter necklace from TopShop
  • 'Eyeshadow Primer Potion' courtesy of Urban Decay
  • 'Wicked' Cream highlight illuminator courtesy of Urban decay
That eyeshadow primer is genius. Seriously, once you put it on your eyeshadow aint going nowhere. I am very impressed with it.

To spread the christmas cheer that little bit further I'm going to split the give away into two. One of you will receive the necklace and another one of you will get the yummy make up products.

Here's how you enter:
  • Follow Ring My Bell on Google. Click on the 'Google' follow button to the right of the blog. Your icon will appear in the followers list.
  • Leave a comment in this post to let me know that you've entered. DO NOT leave your email address. Spammers have been stealing them!

The winner will be announced on the blog on Saturday 18th.

Winner will be chosen at random :)

This give away is open to all Google followers but international winners probably won't receive the items until after christmas. Blame the postal service! x

This is what I wore to the Malin and Goetz dinner last week. The lovely creators of this skin care brand are well known in New York for hosting yummy dinner parties in their Manhattan store and they decided to bring this experience to London at their pop up lab in The St Martin's Lane Hotel. It was such a lovely evening. We got to meet Andrew and Matthew (lovely), play with the products (lovely) and eat dinner (beyond lovely). For those of you who are unfamiliar with their products I can highly recommend you get your bums down to Space NK and have a play. I've been using their geranium body wash all week and I smell um.... lovely! The boy is very taken with the SPF15 facial moisturizer too.

The trousers I'm wearing come from the online boutique storets.com. They're made of a heavy weight jersey material kind of like tracksuit bottoms and are sooooooo comfortable. Whilst browsing their site I also came across these beauties:
Total. Shoe. Porn. Unfortunately these don't come in a big enough size to fit me :(

To make up for my lack of posts and general blog laziness I will be treating you all to a give away this week.... Details in tomorrows post :)

Apologies for the lack of outfit posts. It's simply been too cold. I plan to step up my game this week and get my ass out in the cold and take some pictures for you but in the mean time.... Ombre hair!

Is anyone else obsessing over this as much as me?! I really want to do it but I'm scared of bleaching my hair again. It ruined my hair texture but I used to be rather blonde....
This was taken on vacation with Cyrena from Freak deluxe years ago!

I'm asking for trouble because you can only really commit one hair sin at a time. My biggest sin is heat and as we all know heat and bleach do not a happy head of hair make!

Proenza Schouler PS1 Large Satchel

Mulberry Oversized Alexa

My love for the vintage Chanel I posted about here is still going strong but I'm finding it hard to commit to spending such a large amount of money for something I haven't actually laid eyes on.

However I do still need a new bag (need might be a slight exaggeration) and have yet to add a satchel to my collection. Vying for a place in the Ring My Bell wardrobe are these two beauties.... Equally satchel-ly but different in their own ways. There is something serious and no nonsense about the Proenza and it carries with it heavy weight fashion credentials but we all know how much of a sucker I am for anything leopard and patent! I know all about the "simple will last you longer" argument but.... life is too short to shop that way!

Does everyone else buy themselves a birthday present or is that just me? One week until my birthday!!!

Faux Fur Coat: Asos. Studded Leopard Boots: Courtesy of Kandee Shoes
Jeans & Denim Shirt: TopShop. Scarf (used as headband): Vintage.

I have a thing for double denim... I love it so much I even freezed my tush off for these pictures. It's been so fricking cold recently! My ears can't take it anymore and ear muffs are not a look I can carry off so I've started wrapping this scarf around my ears in a bid to stop them from falling off. So far so good!

The faux fur coat is the one I posted about here. Seriously cosy :)

A few of you have asked which shoes I wear when I'm not wearing heels.... The truth is I wear heels a lot but I also wear these:

P.S The boy has started his own blog!
